The recent winter storm has jeopardized the ramps in our second region. Freezing rain followed by a drop in temperature has frozen our ramps solid. At the moment we are unable to harvest but have hopes of a continued harvest by the end of this week. Mother Nature is showing us who is boss.
The Valley is starting to smell of onions. We anticipate ramp production starting Monday 3/19/18. Happy Spring everyone!
Wishing blessings and prosperity 2018!
Even the gloves are black and yellow; black and yellow! #snowstoppingAD
Most wild harvested products are purchased in a “back door “ manner. This means that product is being purchased from inconstant and unreliable sources. Individuals are encouraged to harvest sizable loads to cut down on the work load for the middle man. This creates an opportunity ripe for abuse. The sustainability of our crops is AD’s primary focus. Our business has been formulated around long term relationships with land owners and food hubs who entrust us to manage their wild resources.
We are NOT the middle man. We are the SOURCE.
